About me and my practice
I have been a qualified therapist for over 10 years, working in private practice, the charity sector and the NHS. I am experienced in face-to-face, telephone and online counselling.
I work with but not limited to, anxiety, depression, loss and bereavement, stress, and low self-esteem, with a particular specialism in trauma informed counselling.
My main training is in person centered therapy, believing in your ability to heal with compassionate support.
I am an integrative therapist, working with the body as well as the mind, seeing this as interconnected - physical symptoms can often be trapped emotions, and we can work on releasing these.
I can offer long term therapy, shorter term Solution focused therapy or CBT with compassion. This is led by you and what you need.

A summary is I worked as a teacher for a while, then support worker for families with children with additional needs. A short spell in CAMHS, then after my counselling training was a volunteer counsellor, then worked as a counsellor in a local charity and also in private practice with adults and young people

We can then arrange a 15-20 minute phone or video call to see if we can work together.
If you are comfortable we can then arrange an initial session, where I will share my contract with you and you can tell me more about what you might need.
Fees
I charge £60 per therapy session (50 minutes)
When I Work
I can be flexible with days and times but generally do not work weekends.
